Pinky Perfect...

Pink Intuition Roses!!!!! Fabulous and wonderful to work with, the Columbian Rose has an incredible shelf life! We had an experiment in the shop to see how long they lasted... over two weeks and they still looked pretty good! We used them with wedding work last weekend and were definitely impressed with the quality and vibrancy of the colour!!

Compliementary colours... Mango Callas, Prima Donna Rose, Blue Thistle and peach Hpericum berries. With a summer twist of tourquise ribbon to match the bridesmaids dresses!! 


Summer in a bouquet... For a twist in Autumn, the addition of brown Hypericum Berries, Oak leaves and perhaps some Choco Anthuriums instead of the Peony Roses could look fabulous with rust or royal blue colour dresses for a stylish wedding...

Gorgeous Gardenia...

I'm thinking wedding table centres... Gifts... For the home... Gardenia can be used almost anywhere! It had a delicate fragrance and the leaves are beautiful when they're shined up and glossy. The flowers look like they're made out of marzipan... sweet eh? 

Fashion Jewellery!

I bought some amazing jewellery stands on Ebay last week & they work a treat when showing off our new jewellery pieces! They're great as an add-on to bouquets and arrangements, as gifts or even if you fancy a little treat for yourself! They're competitively priced, not over priced :-) New lines added weekly!!

Wedding days!

What a busy time of the year it is with Weddings, Graveyard Sundays and summer plants!! Not to mention a little holiday for me ;-) We had three fabulous weddings at the weekend and three fabulous brides to match! Plant it!

Hot hot house plants are the latest addition to the shop floor!! As the temperature heats up foliage house plants are becoming an alternative to cut flowers. Varieties like the Cast Iron Aspidistra plant are so hard to kill even the most heavy handed and busy people will have no problem taking care of them! We also have various succulents, Aloe Vera, Ficus and Peace Lilies... Not to mention a few exotics in stock!! Very reasonable prices from £2.99!!

What a classy and elegant name for such a beautiful rose. We had a beautiful wedding at the weekend with these  roses and for contrast we sided them with Mimi Eden spray roses and diamanté! A winning combination for a summer wedding!

It Makes Scents!!!!

This was very exciting today in the shop. My favourite cut flower. In plant form. Has a beautiful flower head. Sweet and sensual scented Stock! Now this really has me in the mood for summer. Beautiful buckets of fresh cut Stock... I'll end up having them in everything as there are a good choice of colours available!! Enough to brighten  anyone's day!

Have an Exotic Summer!!

The weather is definitely taking a turn for the better! Its a very warm day in Armagh & I've just had a brilliant idea. I wasn't quite sure what to do with my Heliconia bouquets I bought this week... Then I had a brainwave, or heatwave maybe... An exotic summery arrangement that will be only to happy to withstand the heat as long as its kept full of water! Summer Time

The summer bedding plants have arrived!! I spent Friday and today planting up containers and little funky one of a kind pots to sell. They're filled with Fuchsia, Begonias, Lobelias, Petunias and Dahlia... And I have some spare. So its time to get out and do your garden proud!! 

Scent-sational!!

You should have seen my face when this arrived this morning, a complete suprise from a local grower... A big bucked of freshly cut Sweet Peas!!! It certainly put me in the mood for summer and gave me a few wonderful ideas for some of my Summer brides in the coming months! With the door open it allowed the gorgeous scent from the blooms to waft through the entire room... Enough to put anyone in a good mood!! Simply irresistable at only £1.99 a bunch gift-wrapped!!

Look at these!!! Very stylish, cute and vibrant Gerbera boxes to suit weddings, dinner parties and especially as a gift. Very reasonable priced at £7.99 too so you could nearly go home with all three...

New shop displays!

Things seem to have quietened down a bit since Easter so I'm taking the oppertunity to update my displays and brainstorm for the coming summer months. With the peak wedding season coming up its essential I have myself well organised!!

The wedding section has been changed and I have decided to try something new and create a wire wedding bouquet! Definately a good alternative to flowers and as flexible with colour and design.

Weekend Ahead

Nearly the end of another week in the shop so it's all go for preperations for the weekend!!

I've been making baskets, posies, hand-tied bouquets, lots of modern arrangements and quirky pots all ready for sale!! Think I deserve a wee cup of tea & a chocolate bar. Lol.
